Privacy Policy – Committee Manager: Kameti BC

This policy explains how Committee Manager: Kameti BC (package com.indusapps.committee), published on Google Play by Indus apps ("we"), handles information.
Information we collect
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location or any other personal information, and nothing you enter in the app is sent to us. The app has no accounts and no sign-in, and we do not run any server that receives your data.
Everything you enter (committee names, member names and optional phone numbers, amounts, dates, payment status, notes and payout order) and your settings, such as language, are stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. They are never sent to us and are removed when you uninstall the app.
Information about committee members
Member names, phone numbers and amounts are typed in by you and stay on your device. The app does not read your phone's contacts, and it never calls or messages anyone; tapping a member's phone number only copies it to your clipboard. The lucky draw that sets the payout order is worked out on your device. Please only add details that your members are happy for you to keep.
Sharing and backup
Nothing leaves your device unless you choose to share it. When you tap Share on a round update, the payout order or the lucky draw result, the app passes a text summary or an image card to the app you pick in Android's share sheet, for example a messaging app. When you tap Export backup, the app copies all your committees to your device's clipboard as backup text (JSON) and passes the same text to the app you pick in the share sheet, so you can keep it wherever you like. From then on that copy is handled by the app you chose and the people you send it to, under their own privacy policies. Importing a backup only reads the text you paste into the app; the Paste button reads your clipboard only when you tap it.
Reminders
The app does not send notifications to your phone and does not ask for permission to show notifications. Reminders appear only inside the app: when you open it, rounds due within the next two days that still have unpaid members, and late payments, are listed in a Reminders banner at the top of the home screen. They are worked out on your device from the dates you entered, and nothing is sent through our servers or any push service.
Advertising
The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- Device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID
- Approximate location derived from the IP address
- App interactions and diagnostics related to ads (for example ad views and clicks, crashes)
- Device information (model, operating system version, language)
This data is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Your choices
- Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): on first launch we show Google's consent form, where you can accept or refuse personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices.
- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your Android device settings under Google → Ads.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data deletion
We don't hold personal data on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, removes all locally stored data. Copies you have shared or exported are not affected; delete them wherever you sent them. For data processed by Google, use your Google account controls or contact Google.

We may update this policy. The latest version is always available on this page.
